Frequently asked questions
Do you take one-off jobs?
Yes. Plenty of what goes through the workshop is a single frame or assembly to drawing; plenty is repeat batches.
Do you take subcontract work from other fabricators?
Yes. If your own shop is full, send the drawing and spec and we'll quote it like any other job, with the lead time in writing.
What do you need for a quote?
A drawing is best, but a dimensioned sketch or a photo of the old part with key sizes is enough to start. Add quantities, finish and the site postcode. Use the form, email Daniel@drsttrading.co.uk or WhatsApp to 07365 129991.
Are your welders coded?
Yes. Welder qualification and mill certificates are available on request.
Are you EN 1090 certified?
No. We don't hold EN 1090 factory production control, so we don't take notifiable structural steelwork packages. If your contract needs UKCA or CE-marked steelwork, tell us at quote stage and we'll say straight away.
Which materials do you work in?
Mild and carbon steel. We don't take stainless steel or aluminium work.
Do you take domestic work?
No. We take commercial and trade work only: no domestic gates, railings or garden metalwork.
