One contractor, from order to in-place
The simplest projects are the ones where the same firm that fabricated the steel turns up to install it. The drawings are already familiar, the spec is already in hand, and the team on site already knows what's bolting to what. That's what we do as standard — we don't just drop steel off, we put it in.
We'll also install steel we didn't fabricate. If you've already got beams or columns on site that need rigging into place, our coded welders and engineers can lift, locate, weld and finish. Same outcome, same accountability.
What's included
- 01. Delivery to siteWe arrange and run the haulage directly. The steel arrives on the day it's needed — not a week early to sit in your yard, not a day late.
- 02. Correct lifting and riggingThe team uses the right slings, chains and lifting plant for the weight on the day. No improvisation, no shortcuts.
- 03. Bolting and on-site weldingWhere on-site welding is needed for splice plates, end plates or repairs, coded welders carry it out and the weld goes in the same as it would in the workshop.
- 04. Works with your tradesWe're used to being the steel firm on a site already running with builders, electricians and groundworkers. We work to the programme.
- 05. Insurance coveredComprehensive liability and workers' compensation insurance covers the team and the site for the duration of the install.
Typical installs
Residential extensions where a beam goes in to remove a load-bearing wall. Loft conversions where ridge and floor steels go up between joists. Light commercial frames going up on a slab. Mezzanine support steels going into existing warehouses. Replacement beams in older properties where the original steel has corroded out.
How it runs
We come to site for a survey and review the drawings in person. You get a written quote within 24 hours covering fabrication, delivery and install as separate line items, so the cost is clear. Once you're booked in, we hold the slot and turn up on the day.
